Due to my lack of patience, not many applications on my mac are actually up to date. Eventually I clicked the update button and finally got the new, revamped iTunes 11, and was shocked to find out that

New Google Images interface (released 25 January 2013) |
After further investigation, (I googled it) it seems that the popular search engine is the culprit. The new google images interface was rolled out 2 months after iTunes 11 was released. Thats 5 months after Samsung was ordered to pay 1 billion dollars to Apple after they were found infringing on several of their patents.
